A social activist with diverse experience in NGOs, business and governmental administration. Tomasz used to work for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he was responsible for coordinating European Development Days in Warsaw, one of the largest Polish EU Presidency events. He has worked for various non-governmental organizations, such as the Lech Walesa Institute, where he was involved in organising the 13th  World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates, the Solidarity Forum, and where he carried out a development project in Tajikistan. His business portfolio includes providing event management services for Mazda Europe. 

Joanna Roszak
Joanna Roszak

Joanna holds the position of assistant professor at the Institute of Slavic Studies at the Polish Academy of Sciences. She is also a poet (author of tintinnabuli, lele, wewe, nominated for the Silesius literary award, of Ladino, nominated for the Gdynia Literary Prize, and of tego dnia, nominated for the Wislawa Szymborska International Literary Award). She is also an initiator of many activities for school children.

Joanna recently published books about German-speaking poets of Jewish heritage and about the synagogue in her home town - Poznań. She is also the editor of publications about F. Pessoa, I. Bachmann, P. Matywiecki, M. Świetlicki. Currently Joanna is writing a book about Joseph Rotblat and his family’s history.

 

Anna Muus
Anna Muus

Born in Oświęcim, Poland Anna has always been involved in local initiatives. As a teenager she worked as a volunteer at the International Let’s Bring World Peace children’s festival and as a translator at the International Youth Meeting Centre in her home town. Anna is a graduate of linguistics at Tischner European University and cultural studies at Jagiellonian University. Her professional experience includes working at the Centre for Foreign Law Schools, leading educational projects at the Lech Walesa Institute (2013-2014) and coordinating a series of conferences for Mazda Motor Europe in 2015. She is a founder of the Open Forum Foundation in Brzezinka.
